Care Assistant Vacancies

DayByDay Care Ltd is recruiting experienced Care Assistants to provide high-quality support to adults living in their own homes across Richmondshire and Hambleton. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated care professionals seeking a long-term career in the UK care sector.

Due to the rural nature of the role, applicants must be confident driving long distances, working independently, and travelling across villages and remote communities in all weather conditions.

Job Description

Carers responsibilities are but not limited to providing personal care and support with daily living activities,

Assist with medication, nutrition, and mobility,

Support people with dementia, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, autism, and long-term health conditions

Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing,

Maintain accurate care records and report concerns appropriately

Provide care that complies with UK legislation and safeguards

Essential Requirements

Minimum 12 months' paid experience in a Health & Social Care role,

Currently working, or recently worked, in a similar care position,

Full UK driving licence

Own car for work purposes and have Minimum 24 months UK driving experience,

Willing to travel throughout North Yorkshire, including rural and remote locations,

Good spoken and written English

Flexible Working hours

Skilled Worker Visa Sponsorship Eligibility

Sponsorship may be available for x3 suitable applicants who:

Have a minimum of 24 months' professional care experience.

Are currently employed in a relevant Health & Social Care role Occupation Code: 6135.

Meet the English language requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa

Can provide evidence of relevant qualifications and work history,

Meet all UK immigration and right-to-work requirements.

Can demonstrate the ability to work independently within the community and meet the driving requirements of the role.

Please note: Applicants who do not hold a driving licence and have access to their own vehicle will not be considered, as public transport is not a practical option for this position.

Job Description

As a Care Assistant you will be working in a regulated sector, and you will be expected to work directly with adults with care and support needs that vary. These may include cognitive impairment, physical, Learning and sensory disabilities, Autism, long term conditions, palliative care needs. This role is for those who want to make a difference and work independently to support people to continue to live in their own houses. Ideal candidate will need to have all the attributes of the 6 C’s of care.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.

A caring and compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

A valid UK driving license a must and access to a vehicle is desirable but not essential.

You must be eligible to work in the UK
